In room 4 we learnt about 'Matariki' and the 9 stars that symbolize the Maori new year.
The children then worked in groups of 3 to create the 9 stars and what they symbolize.
Before we designed our stars the children listened to some audio stories about the different stars on spotify - the playlist is called '0800matariki' & read the story 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Matariki - by Rebecca Larsen'
Kia Ora Room 4, these are awesome because we can see that you put a lot of effort into creating the stars. We also learnt about the 9 stars of Matariki. Next time you could try to animate your stars and record the information using Screencastify or Slides. Awesome job! From Kowhai Class.
